BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for choosing to book with Pro Golf Travel. Please carefully read our Terms and Conditions before making payment, and come back to us with any questions. All of our bookings go through our tour operator (Bilyana Golf) and they will be referred to as the ‘tour operator’.

Your Holiday Protection
When booking an air holiday package with Pro Golf Travel your holiday will be protected under our tour operator Air Travel Organiser’s Licence number 9502. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you paid to us for an advance booking. For further information visit the ATOL website. Other non-air packages are insured by ABTA.

Non-air packages are covered by our tour operator ABTA membership (P1586) which also means that we observe the high standards of ABTA’s Code of Conduct.

Payment Terms
DEPOSITS – We require a £50 per person deposit to secure your reservation. Full payment must be made at the time of booking if travelling within 56 days. If we are booking your flights on your behalf we also require the full cost of the flight.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION – Confirmation of your booking with Pro Golf Travel will be e-mailed to you on receipt of your deposit payment. The confirmation document will clearly state your balance due date as well as the outstanding balance to be paid.
Please ensure you check all the details on your confirmation carefully to make sure all is in order and to your satisfaction. Should any of the details be incorrect or incomplete please contact Pro Golf Travel and we will endeavour to make the necessary changes. Subsequent changes may incur additional fees of £5 per person. There will be no refund on unused services.
Our tour operator reserves the right to make necessary changes and corrections to your booking without prior notice.

FINAL PAYMENT – Final payment is due 56 days prior to travel date. Hotel and Golf vouchers will not be issued until final payment is received. Please note the final payment may vary from the original booking quote if the product is subject to exchange rate fluctuations or price increases by wholesalers or other suppliers. Rates quoted are appropriate to the particular product at the time of quoting.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS – Our tour operator accepts the following methods of payment:
* Credit & Debit Cards – Visa Credit / MasterCard Credit / Maestro / Visa Debit / Visa Electron / MasterCard Debit. Debit cards are not charged, credit cards are subject to a 2% fee.
* Bank Transfers – Please note bank transfers may take up to 3 days to clear.
Flights Booked by our tour operator

Once we have booked your flights, your itinerary will be sent to you via e-mail. It is your responsibility to check the details of the booking for any errors in spelling or other details as soon as possible so they can be changed without any subsequent charges. Airlines reserve the right to make changes to their schedule without any prior notice. Our tour operator cannot be held liable for such changes made by third parties.
Special Requests

Any special requests must be made at the time of booking. All reasonable requests will be passed on to the relevant suppliers. All special requests are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee they will be fulfilled. Please keep in close contact with Pro Golf Travel regarding any special requests.

If you or members of your group have a medical condition or disability that may affect your holiday, please let us know the full details in writing at the time of booking. We will pass on the information to the relevant supplier to ensure they can accommodate any special needs.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances or medical reasons 56 days or more prior to your holiday our standard policy will be to refund your monies paid minus your deposit. Should the cancellation occur within the 56 days leading up to your holiday, this will be considered a no-show and you will not be entitled to a refund. In some extreme circumstances we may be able to recover payment from the service providers. If the cancellation is due to ill health you will be asked to provide a medical certificate.

Flight Cancellation
Flight bookings are not refundable. Date and name changes may be possible for additional charges depending on airline policies.
Insurance

Pro Golf Travel recommend you undertake travel insurance to ensure your golf equipment is protected and you are covered against injury.
Passports, Visas and Health Requirements

British Citizens must have a full British Passport in order to travel to Turkey. Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Turkey. You will require a visitor visa, obtainable in advance online through the following site – www.evisa.gov.tr

Arriving at Your Resort & Welcome Meeting
You will be met by our representatives holding a Bilyana Golf sign outside the arrival doors of the airport terminal. You will be informed of the details of your Welcome meeting on arrival. Please ensure you attend your designated welcome meeting where any questions you may have will be answered and you will be informed of your pick up times for your shuttle service. Our pick up times are generally approximately an hour before your tee off time.

You will be informed of your return airport transfer approximately 24 hours prior your departure time via your hotel reception. Our return airport transfers are generally 3 hours prior to your flight departure time. If you have not received this information, please contact us on the emergency numbers provided.

Accommodation
Accommodation is as specified in the accommodation section of our websites. We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation of a similar standard in cases where the service provider overbooks their property or for reasons beyond our control.

The all-inclusive concepts include breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as most soft drinks and local alcoholic beverages. Some imported drinks are subject to an extra charge. A la carte restaurants in some hotels have a cover charge.

The golf Club is not an extension to the hotels and is not covered by the all-inclusive concept. Our tour operator does not accept any liability for any additional charges you incur.

Tee-times
Golf courses reserve the right to make changes to your tee times where they see necessary. If a golf club do cancel or change your tee time, we will endeavour to find you a suitable alternative. You will be charged for any increase in price or refunded any difference from the original cost. Over seeding schedules, course maintenance and operating times may be changed by the golf courses without prior notice which may affect your tee times and/ or dates of play. These changes do not entitle you to cancel an already booked holiday.

Apart from scheduled over seeding, continuous maintenance of fairways, greens and tee boxes is an essential part of course presentation. Our tour operator cannot be held liable for the impact of such work on your game.

All tee times are booked as 4 balls by the courses. If you are a group of 6, you will be booked in as a 4 ball and a 2 ball, a group of 9 will be booked as two 4 balls and a 1 ball. Golf courses in the region do get very busy, and some courses may pair you up with other golfers during peak season.

Dress Code
The dress code for golfers can vary from course to course. Jeans or denim is generally not accepted, ladies and gents are required to wear a collared shirt. Sleeveless shirts are allowed for ladies as long as the shirt has a collar.

Most courses do not require you to wear golf spikes, but if you do wear them, soft plastic spikes are the rule, as they do not damage the course.
Please check your group is aware of the appropriate golfing attire. Our tour operator will not be held responsible for golfers who are unable to play due to inappropriate attire.

Golf Etiquette & Standard of Play
All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, showing consideration for others and to abide by the rules. All players are expected to have knowledge of golf etiquette and to avoid slow play. Our tour operator will not be held responsible for golfers being asked to miss a hole or leave the course by the Marshalls.

Handicaps
Some courses may request handicap certificates; highest handicap for women is 36 and 28 for men.

Buggies
All courses have buggies and trolleys available for hire. Golf Buggies are booked at the golf club on the day of play. They are given on a “first come first served” basis, therefore tee times before 09:00 or after 13:00 are recommended to avoid disappointment during peak season.

If you require buggy assistance for one of the courses that will accept buggy reservations, you must send a copy of your certificate or Doctor’s report to Pro Golf Travel prior to travel. You must also take along the hard copy as you may be requested to present it in the Pro Shop.

Please note that the reservation and use of buggies are strictly at the discretion of the course and is subject to weather conditions and availability, should the prevailing weather conditions be exceptionally wet the golf club may restrict the use of buggies.

Some courses have fewer buggies than others and they may limit the number of buggies available per group.

Weather and Force Majeure
The operation of a golf course during bad weather is at the discretion of the golf course. Golf courses reserve the right to operate temporary tee boxes / greens. If a course is closed due to bad weather it is your responsibility to obtain another voucher for play on another day under the “Bad Weather Policy” of the golf course. If the golf course is open and you prefer not to play you will not be entitled to a refund or to play on another day.

Our tour operator is not responsible and will not be held liable for additional expenses incurred through events out of our control, such as Acts of God (such as hurricane, flooding, earthquake, volcanic eruption) or Force Majeure (unforeseeable circumstances such as war, riots, strikes, civil unrest, terrorist activity).

Liability
We will aim to resolve any complaints you may have concerning services we provide during your stay. Complaints must be made to your hotel representative who you will meet during your welcome meeting or through your sales representative. Any unresolved matters must be informed to us in writing within 14 days of your return date.

Any assistance we provide resolving a complaint in relation to any third party booking, such as flights, resorts and golf courses is provided on a goodwill basis within our capacity as an agent

Data Protection
Information such as name, date of birth, address and special requirements is shared with third parties to ensure your travel arrangements meet your requirements. These include airlines and resorts to secure your booking and public authorities as required by law. We take full responsibility for ensuring the proper security measures are in place to protect your information.
